IPL: Aircel bags team sponsorship for Chennai Super Kings
Aircel announced that it has bagged sponsorship rights for Chennai Super Kings in the soon to be launched Indian Premier League (IPL). The Chennai team is to be led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni
Indian Cements have bought the rights for Chennai team and Tamil actors and Nayanthara are roped in as brand ambassadors for the team.
Aircel, as team sponsor, has received branding rights on the players’ uniform including their shirts and hats.
Aircel COO, Gurdeep Singh said, "Aircel, is the leading cellular service provider in Chennai and Tamil Nadu, and hence an association with Chennai Super Kings, led by Dhoni was a natural fit."
